A big thank you!👍👍 ... to all those who helped with the Avo Festival last weekend.
Our member clubs were well represented among the helpers. We got a special thank you from the Sport and Rec organiser, Pauline and the festival committee.
The event had the biggest ever pre-sales of tickets although on the day the organisers think the total attendees was probably similar to last year. It was tricky for the festival committee with the new licensing and security rules that apply to all festivals in the region now, but they did pretty well at still making it a great day out.
Well done to Katch Katikati, the Katikati Pakeke Lions and the Funfest Charitable Trust for another amazing Katikati event.
The KKRSC Committee would like to say a huge thank you to Pauline for representing us on the organising committee and for all her work coordinating us and doing many tasks herself in the lead up and on the day. It was a huge task, so it's great that the event was so good. You're a star Pauline!
